The Lone Star State roars again as the F1 2022 season continues with the Aramco United States Grand Prix. Following Max Verstappen's championship title win, all eyes are on the constructor's championship as Red Bull is preparing to claim their constructor's championship title for the first time after nearly a decade.
As the lights went off, the action in COTA is on with Carlos Sainz the first to be retired from the race following an opening lap crash with George Russell, which was later slapped with a five-second penalty. Come Lap 18, Valtteri Bottas was beached and the safety car was triggered. As the safety car is still circulating, Lap 21 saw contact between Lance Stroll and Fernando Alonso at the restart but they're fine.
As the race restarted on Lap 26, Max Verstappen is fending off Lewis Hamilton while Sergio Perez is close behind in third. As both Verstappen and Hamilton did their pit stops, with the former facing pit troubles, the action continues to heat things up while Sebastian Vettel faced drama at the pit stop that caused his position to drop drastically.
As the climax draws near, Verstappen is hunting down Hamilton and then swats him down.

World champion Verstappen's at it again. His recent win against Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc prompted Red Bull to win the constructor's championship title for the first time after nearly a decade. This is a fitting tribute to the late Red Bull co-founder Dietrich Mateschitz, who died ahead of the race at the age of 78.
The next race of the F1 22 season will be the Gran Premio de la Ciudad de Mexico this October 30th.
