Who will make it to the Round of 8? Who will be eliminated? The Round of 12 eliminations of the NASCAR Cup Series playoffs ends at Charlotte Motor Speedway Road Course for the Bank of America ROVAL 400.
Surprisingly, days before the race began, Alex Bowman announced that he won't race at the ROVAL due to his concussion-like symptoms. Therefore, he bravely accepted his elimination from the playoffs, effective after the race.
Anyway, with the green flag waved, the final round of the Round of 12 eliminations has begun. The lefts and rights truly spell the difference between those who will make it and those who are not. With Joey Logano claiming Stage 1, followed by Ross Chastain in Stage 2, the climax saw drama for Daniel Suarez as well as Chastain, not to mention a spin from Corey La Joie after being nudged by Suarez. With the caution triggered, overtime comes into play, and Christopher Bell storms into the lead.
