The San Miguel Beermen and the Talk N Text Tropang Giga are two noteworthy teams that faced each other for the 2022 PBA Philippine Cup title and every game is like two sides exchanging punches at one another
Both sides exchanged fire one after one on the hoop side and that stalemate forced them to a sudden-death Game 7 match in the Smart Araneta Coliseum, the finale that will decide which team will be crowned the 2022 PBA Philippine Cup champions.
The sudden-death finale was intense from start to finish as the Beerman had control in the courtside with CJ Perez, June Mar Fajardo, Marcio Lassiter, and Chris Ross pulling a standing ovation.

In the end, the San Miguel Beermen is back on the throne as they've won their 10th PBA Philippine Cup title. CJ Perez was the play of the game after scoring 25 points, four rebounds, and seven assists.
So, the SMB won their tenth PBA Philippine Cup finals but the real challenge begins because next month, they and the Tropang Giga will compete to represent the Philippines in the first-ever East Asia Super League.
