The 2022 FIA World Touring Car Cup has returned to France in a brand new location, the Anneau du Rhin, for the first-ever Race of Alsace Grandest, as the drivers are trying to master the twists and turns of this new battleground while battling the competition on the road to victory lane.

Beginning in the first race, Nathanael Berthon claimed his first WTCR win of the year after an intense clash against Nestor Girolami. In the second race, meanwhile, Rob Huff kept his cool and survived all the way towards victory lane, beating the likes of Mehdi Bennani.
After Alsace Grandest, Mikel Azcona remains in the lead with 241 points, 35 points ahead of Girolami, while Huff's in 3rd with 187 points, In the team standings, meanwhile, the BRC Hyundai N Squadra Corse remains in the lead with 368 points.
