Sandown is the next stop for the 2022 Repco Supercars Championship with the Penrite Oil Sandown Supersprint as points leader Shane Van Gisbergen tries to dominate Sandown by all means necessary to increase his title win chances.

The first race saw Will Davison winning the race from SVG but in the last two races; SVG won the second one where a certain driver crashed the fence, and the final one following a questionable shortcut while hunting down Davison and defeated him in the end.
After Sandown, SVG's in the lead with 2493 points.
The next event is the ITM Auckland SuperSprint this September 9 to 11.
