This is the final race of the regular season before the big one; the playoffs of the 2022 NASCAR Cup Series. With Daytona their battleground, this race, after a rain delay, will judge who is playoff-worthy.
As the green flag waved, the final race of the regular season begins. Stage 1 saw Kyle Larson going behind the wall with engine trouble on his car, followed by a disaster at the backstretch with Ryan Blaney involved in the wreck. With Joey Logano winning Stage 1, Stage 2 saw Kyle Busch nailing this stage. When the final stage kicks in, disasters occur, and the big one on lap 138 sums it up the race got paused due to weather with Austin Dillon currently leading. As the sun shines again in Daytona, it's back to work for the drivers as they're going all out to finish this race strong.
