The Forza Horizon 5 x Extreme E collaboration continues with the second batch of Extreme E vehicles up for grabs; one is the overall Series 10 playlist prize and the other is two prize vehicles from the Series 10 Storm Season Playlist. Since I got the second batch of Extreme E vehicles in the game, let's get to know about them, shall we?
The overall Series 10 playlist prize is the #58 McLaren Racing vehicle that made its debut in the current season. McLaren is synonymous with Formula 1 and other well-known motorsports around the globe and their Extreme E debut came out like a thief in the night. The newly established NEOM McLaren Extreme E Team has two drivers on their roster such as Emma Gilmour and the professional racer/host of History Channel's Top Gear, Tanner Foust.
The first of the two Extreme E vehicles up for grabs in the Storm Season Playlist is the #23 Genesys Andretti United machine. The Andretti Autosport team was famed for its five Indy 500 wins and four IndyCar championship titles. Not only that, their involvement in Formula E and WEC placed the Andretti name in the world of motorsports and their Extreme E team, the Genesys Andretti United, is proof that they're ready for more. Representing Andretti is the rising star in rallying, Catie Munnings, and World RX champion Timmy Hansen.
The last of the two Extreme E vehicles up for grabs in the Storm Season Playlist is the #5 Veloce Racing machine. Veloce has been known to be one of the most well-known e-sports teams and with the collaboration of two-time Formula E world champion Jean-Eric Vergne and legendary designer Adrian Newey, the Veloce Racing team was born and with Lance Woolridge and Christine Gz in the roster, this team is proof that Veloce's out from the virtual motorsports world and into the real world.
With their quick introductions done, it's time to give the second batch of Extreme E vehicles a deep dive through Horizon Mexico's most unforgiving terrain and see if they live up to their strengths and weaknesses. Roll the tapes.
What do you think of them? Not bad, huh?
Six down, four to go! Looks like the collaboration's really shaking up.
Keep enjoying the collaboration!
