The F1 22 season continues in the notorious Imola racetrack for the Imola Grand Prix and with Max Verstappen still following his strides, there's more work for him to do as he's dealing with surprise resurgences from Ferrari and McLaren. Mercedes? Not so much of a threat anymore.
From the opening lap disaster for both Carlos Sainz and Daniel Ricciardo to Charles Leclerc's downfall, overcast conditions weren't very friendly for the drivers from the time the road felt wet until it became dry enough for the remaining drivers to go for broke.

In the end, it's a 1-2 finish for Red Bull with Verstappen the winner and Sergio Perez the runner-up. Lando Norris nailed another podium finish in 3rd place.
After Imola, Charles Leclerc, despite his Imola disaster, still leads with 86 points, 27 points ahead of Verstappen.
The next race is on the streets of Miami, Florida, for the first-ever Crypto.com Miami Grand Prix this May 8th.
