The fifth day of the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics puts the spotlight on Alpine Skiing, Freestyle Skiing, Luge, Nordic Combined, Short Track Speed Skating, and Snowboard.
Petra Vlhova of Slovakia won the Women's Slalom Run 2 while Birk Ruud of Norway won the Men's Freeski Big Air Final Run 3, a double medal win for Germany at the Doubles Run 2 with Wendl and Arlt the winners while Eggert and Benecken the silver medalists, Germany's Vinzenz Geiger for the Individual Gundersen Normal Hill / 10km Cross-Country, South Korea's Hwang Daeheon for the Men's 1500m Final A, and Lindsey Jacobellis of the USA for the Women's Snowboard Cross Big Final.
Onto the medal tally, Germany now has the most golds with five while the ROC still has the most overall medals with 11.
