Kicking off the year 2022 is the annual Dakar Rally, which took place in Saudi Arabia from the 1st to the 14th of January, 2022. It's the second time the most grueling offroad event in the world took place in the era of the COVID-19 pandemic and while most of the staff are adhering to health protocols, the 2022 Dakar Rally went as planned with an eclectic roster of competitors tackling 12 grueling stages in nine different classes by all means necessary.
From Ha'il to Jeddah, the 12-stage desert power play of the toughest drivers ever assembled faced countless perils among the way, some managed to survive while others were left behind in shame.
