From sundown to sunrise, the 2022 Rolex 24 at Daytona showcased some of the most dramatic moments the world has ever witnessed. On the track and in the pitlane, every moment is a battle for the drivers and teams involved and they have worked round the clock to get this race done as planned. Some survived, others didn't. This is the true beauty of the Daytona 24-hour endurance race.
After 24 hours of intense endurance racing drama, the #60 Meyer Shank Racing Acura DPi wins the Rolex 24 at Daytona while the #81 DragonSpeed won the LMP2 class, #74 Riley Motorsports for the LMP3 class, the #9 Porsche 911 GT3R in the PRO Class, and the #16 Wright Motorsports for the GTD class.
This concludes the Rolex 24 at Daytona but the 2022 IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship has just begun as the action continues this March 16-19 at the Sebring International Raceway for the Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring presented by Advance Auto Parts.
