Although Shane Van Gisbergen is officially crowned the 2021 Supercars champion, there is only one final race of the season and it's really the big one, the legendary Bathurst 1000. Teams of two drivers form together to tackle the Australian motorsport gauntlet where the fastest survive and the slightest mistakes will spell doom to the drivers.
From intense overtakes, disastrous accidents, and a sudden echidna interrupting the race, the 2021 Bathurst 1000 truly is the gauntlet where many racers took and only a handful survived.

After a dramatic 161-lap monster race, the #25 Commodore of Chaz Mostert and Lee Holdsworth crossed the checkered flag and won the Bathurst 1000 while the #6 car of Cameron Waters and James Moffat finished 2nd and the #99 car of Brad Kostecki and David Russell finished 3rd.
What a way to end the season! And that is the end of the 2021 Repco Supercars Championship. See you next season!
