In a normal video game, in order to proceed to the next phase of the adventure, the player has to battle against a terrifying boss character. Defeat the boss and it's off to the next chapter of your adventure. In Forza Horizon tradition, they have those boss levels known as Showcase Events. Showcase Events is all about drivers driving their cars against a series of bosses getting their way.
Horizon Mexico is no exception and it's packed with four Showcase Events to take on, putting your driving skills to the test.
In "On A Wing And A Prayer" you will drive a new Hoonigan Cossie against a cargo plane, riders, and a man in a wingsuit.
In "Flood, Sweat, and Gears", you will take on a group of jetskiers with the #2069 Ford Bronco R through the muddy waterways in the jungle.
In "Buggy and the Beast", your little Brocky will take on two monster trucks on a race to the stadium and if you defeat those two, you will have the chance to drive the monster truck in the stadium for a brief period of time.
And in "Catch Me If You Canyon", your Countach against a freight train on a race through Copper Canyon, a Horizon classic.
These showcase events really are the ultimate test of your driving abilities. It will take all your skill, guts, and luck to conquer these bosses. If you are fully prepared to take on such herculean tasks, feel free to take on all four showcase events. If you're not prepared, don't worry, I'll show you my clips on the four Showcase Events I've taken on during my Mexican adventure, giving you a glimpse of what to expect before taking them head-on.
Good luck!
