No way! The famed DeLorean has returned to the world of Forza as a prize car for reaching 26 points in Forza Horizon 5's Season 1 Wet Season playlist. Doc Brown and Marty McFly will be proud of everyone who got their hands on the car that starred as the iconic time machine from the Back To The Future trilogy.
You are already familiar with the iconic DeLorean, am I right? For those who are not, it's the byproduct of John Z. DeLorean, who left General Motors in the late '70s to start his own company until his arrest for the suspicion of drug possession that spells the end of his own motoring empire. The DeLorean DMC-12 features handling by Lotus and is powered by a Renault-derived 2.9L petrol engine at the back producing a dismal 130hp of power.
Despite its disastrous reputation, the DeLorean earned a new lease of life when Steven Spielberg made it a time-traveling hero car in the Back To The Future trilogy. Thanks to the Back To The Future trilogy's success, the DeLorean became a pop icon.
Right, before Biff the bully comes to steal this car and ruin Marty McFly's timeline, it's time to take it for a drag race around the ancient Mayan ruins against the other guys, as well as wannabe Doc Browns driving DeLoreans. Too bad it can't time-travel when it hits 88, but this should be fun trying out the legend. Roll the tape!
