After a year off, Interlagos roars back with the Brazilian Grand Prix leg of the F1 2021 season. As Max Verstappen is inching closer to his world champion title, Lewis Hamilton is not giving up without a real, dirty fight.
As the race starts, Lando Norris' surprise lead has interrupted by a tyre puncture, giving Verstappen a chance to slip through the lead while Lewis Hamilton's busy hounding him. Come Lap 6, a safety car was triggered following Yuki Tsunoda losing part of his front wing. As the race resumed, Verstappen's hunt continues until it got interrupted again by Mick Schumacher when he clipped some debris, forcing him to enter the pits for repairs.
Halfway through the race, the title rivals entered the pits for a fresh batch of tyres and resumed their cat-and-mouse chase. Behind them, Daniel Ricciardo has threw in the towel due to power failure. As it reaches its climax, Hamilton made his move.
