The autumn season has begun, and the 2021 World Rally Championship continues at Kalle Rovanpera for the Secto Automotive Rally Finland. Although the fall season means cooler temperatures, the drivers are pumped to take on the event where history is made many times.
The opening stages saw Craig Breen surged through the lead from Ott Tanak during nighttime. In Saturday stages meanwhile, Kalle Rovanpera's hopes to win in his home turf is in pieces following a morning crash while Sebastien Ogier is slapped with a one-minute time penalty for not fastening his helmet strap correctly during SS12. Behind the mishaps, Elfyn Evans clawed through the lead until the Sunday stages where the winner is decided.
