The 2021 NTT IndyCar Series continues at the Pacific Northwest for the Grand Prix of Portland and as the climax draws near, the title rivals still have unfinished business to do at the Portland International Raceway.
Alex Palou served as the polesitter of the Portland race and he led the grid to start the race until the tricky turn 1 gave title rival Pato O'Ward the chance to overtake for the lead while Hinchtown's day at the Pacific Northwest ended abruptly in that incident. As the race restarted, the action continues until, on lap 85, Will Power and Simon Pagenaud got involved in an incident that triggered another yellow flag.
