Tokyo 2020 Highlights - Day 14

     


August 5, 2021 - DAY 14

The 14th day of the Tokyo 2020 Olympics puts focus on Athletics, Canoe Sprint, Cycling Track, Diving, Karate, Marathon Swimming, Skateboarding, and Sport Climbing.

Beginning with Athletics, Pedro Pichardo of Portugal won the Men's Triple Jump Final while the USA scored double gold wins with Ryan Crouser at the Men's Shot Put Final and Katie Nageotte at the Women's Pole Vault Final, Jamaica's Hansle Parchment at the Men's 110m Hurdles, Italy's Massimo Stano at the Men's 20km Race Walk Final, Bahrain's Steven Gardiner at the Men's 400m Final, Nafissatou Thiam of Belgium at the Women's Heptathlon 800m Heat 2, and Canada's Damian Warner at the Men's Decathlon 1500m Heat 1.

In Canoe Sprint, Hungary's Sandor Totka won the Men's Kayak Single 200m Final A, Nevin Harrison of the USA at the Women's Canoe Single 200m Final A, Lisa Carrington of New Zealand at the Women's Kayak Single 50m Final A, and the whole Australian team at the Men's Kayak Double 1000m Final A.

In Cycling Track, The Netherlands's Shanne Braspennincx won Women's Keirin Final 1-6 while Great Britain's Matthew Walls won the Men's Omnium Points Race 4/.4.

In Diving, China's Quan Hongchan won the Women's 10m Platform Final.

In Karate, the winner of the Women's Kata Final Bout is Spain's Sandra Sanchez Jaime.

In Marathon Swimming, the winner of the Men's 10km is Germany's Florian Wellbrock.

In Skateboarding, Keegan Palmer of Australia won the Men's Park Final.

And in Sport Climbing, Alberto Gines Lopez of Spain won the Men's Combined Lead Final.
