On the 12th day of the Tokyo 2020 Olympics, the following sports that have medal events on them are Artistic Gymnastics, Athletics, Canoe Sprint, Cycling Track, Diving, Sailing, and Weightlifting.
Beginning with Artistic Gymnastics, China scored double gold medal wins with Zou Jingyuan in the Men's Parallel Bars Final and Guan Chenchen in the Women's Balance Beam Final. Daiki Hashimoto of Japan won the Men's Horizontal Bar Final.
In Athletics, Malaika Mihambo of Germany won the Women's Long Jump Final, Karsten Warholm from Norway won the Men's 400m Hurdles Final, Armand Duplantis of Sweden for the Men's Pole Vault Final, Anita Wlodarczyk of Poland for the Women's Hammer Throw Final, the US's Athing Mu on the Women's 800mk Final, and winning the Women's 200m Final, it's Elaine Thompson-Herah from Jamaica.
In Canoe Sprint, Lisa Carrington from New Zealand won the Women's Kayak Single 200m Final A, Cuba for Men's Canoe Double 1000m Final A, Hungarian Balint Kopasz defeated his compatriot Adam Varga to win the Men's Kayak Single 1000m Final A, and New Zealand for the Women's Kayak Double 500m Final A.
In Cycling Track, Germany won the Women's Team Pursuit Finals and The Netherlands won the Men's Team Sprint Finals.
China's Xie Siyi and Wang Zongyuan won gold and silver in the Men's 3m Springboard Final.
In Sailing, Brazil won the Women's Skiff 49er FX while the whole of Great Britain and their very own Giles Scot won the Men's Skiff 49er Medal Race and the Men's One Person Dinghy Heavyweight Finn Medal Race, and Italy won the Mixed Multihull Nacra 17 Foiling Medal Race.
And in Weightlifting, Akbar Djuraev of Uzbekistan won the gold in Men's 109kg Group A.
