Greenland. No, not the movie about a family fleeing to that place to survive from an imminent asteroid impact. The real Greenland, the next venue for the inaugural Extreme E championship, of course. Contrary to the name, the Arctic X Prix didn't feature any snowy conditions, all because of climate change, of course. It's no wonder why this event is all about raising awareness about climate change's drastic impact on the Arctic, but anyway, the Arctic X Prix pits drivers on the Arctic's harshest road conditions as they fight their way towards victory lane.
From the semi-finals to the crazy race, the teams that made it to the final round were the RXR, the X44, the Acciona Sainz, the JBXE, and the Andretti United. In the final race of the Arctic X Prix, the most memorable moment is the title clash between RXR and Andretti where Johan Kristoffersson pushed the car to the lead but the jump was too much for him, and the car's badly damaged, giving the RXR team a heartbreaking DNF.

With the RXR team's heartbreak, the Andretti United team of Catie Munnings and Timmy Hansen is named the winner of the Arctic X Prix while the JBXE team of Mikaela Ahlin-Kottulinsky and Kevin Hansen finished 2nd, and the Acciona Sainz team of Laia and Carlos Sainz finished 3rd.
The next event will be the Island X Prix at Sardinia, Italy, from the 23rd to the 24th of October, 2021.
