The British Grand Prix of the F1 2021 season welcomes a new format where the winner will serve as the pole of the Grand Prix. It's called the F1 Sprint and in this new format, the gird set by the Friday qualifiers will have 17 laps to race with no mandatory pit stops. The top three will have points and the result sets the grid for the Grand Prix race day.
In the first-ever F1 Sprint, Max Verstappen has beaten Lewis Hamilton to become the pole of the British Grand Prix with Valtteri Bottas finished 3rd.
With the F1 Sprint done, the real race kicked off and the opener saw the title rivals involved in the collision and Verstappen got crashed horribly, triggering a red flag. Verstappen survived the massive crash. As the race restarted, Hamilton has one obstacle getting his way; Ferrari's Charles Leclerc. This is one heck of a duel Silverstone ever witnessed and the two sides trade punches corner after corner.
