The "new era" DTM season continues in Lausitzring for another two-race event where drivers and their GT3-class cars are going all-out to see who will win the second leg of the season.

Beginning in the first race, Philip Ellis of Mercedes-AMG Team Winward wins while Red Bull AF Corse's Liam Lawson finished 2nd and ABT's Mike Rockenfeller finished 3rd. In the second race, meanwhile, Maximilian Gotz of Team HRT nailed his first DTM win while Lawson finished 2nd and ABT's Kelvin Van Der Linde finished 3rd.

After Lausitzring, Kelvin Van Der Linde is four points ahead of Liam Lawson, 69 vs. 65, while Philip Ellis is at third with 48 points.
The next event of the DTM 2021 season will be at Zolder from the 6th to the 8th of August, 2021.
