The F1 2021 season continues on Circuit Paul Ricard for the French Grand Prix and with Max Verstappen currently leading the leaderboard, all eyes on whether or not Lewis Hamilton will fight back against Verstappen's sudden resurgence of this season.

The start of the race saw Verstappen slides off at Turn 2 while Hamilton surged through the lead. The McLaren drivers, meanwhile, are getting dramatic in their actions during the early stages. 15 laps later, Charles Leclerc became the first driver of this race to pit as he's [utting on a set of hard tyres and returns to track on 18th place. Four laps later, Verstappen pits and a lap later, it's Hamilton.
