The fourth installment of the Girls x Heroine Series, Police x Heroine Lovepatrina!, is about a group of young girls summoned by an intergalactic police to save the world from the nasty antics of the WaruPyoco Gang, which are causing havoc by turning normal people into troublemaking Love Zero people. As the series draws near to its climax, the Lovepatrina girls still got one more case to do and it's the movie the whole family's seeing it now.
Police x Heroine Lovepatrina! Kaitou kara no chousen! Love de papatto taiho seyo! |
The Lovepatrina girls are in the big screen and it's going to be a big one because with enough "yumekawaii" to boot, the girls' biggest adventure is going to be "yumekawaii" as they did in the TV series.
In this film, the Lovepatrina girls got summoned by the Interpol because there's a rumor that a priceless diamond known as the "Love Diamond" is about to get stolen by some phantom thieves. The Lovepatrina girls are tasked to do some protection but suddenly, things get ugly when the WaruPyoco Gang's pulling their dirtiest antics yet by turning one of Interpol's finests into a Love Zero, causing big trouble for the girls!
Hold on, when they said phantom thieves, we can only think of one thing in mind; the Phantomirage girls and the unexpected team up is a big win-win for this film, not to mention other Girls x Heroine girls, Girls² as they called it, making their cameos as well.
Guess this whole team-up is nothing new for them but by blending some comic relief, magical girl fun stuff, and some "yumekawaii", thank you very much LovePyoco, this film is about as "yumekawaii" as the TV series but in a big way and that's pretty much about it. Of course, like most Girls x Heroine shows, transformation sequences and their finishing blow sequences are lengthy as usual.
As the series draws near to a climax, this film is a dreamy reminder of how much the Lovepatrina girls pushed further ever since the start of the show. Fans had a lot of fun joining alongside Tsubasa, Sarai, Kohana, and Sora on their TV antics and this movie is like a love letter to the girls using their powers to keep the neighborhood safe from the mess caused by the WaruPyoco Gang.
The Lovepatrina girls, from their TV show adventures to their big movie adventure, they really are "yumekawaii" indeed.
