The inaugural Extreme E continues on the beaches of Dakar, Senegal, for the Ocean X Prix where drivers are going all out to survive the intense off-road racing action at the beach.
In the first semi-finals, teams RXR and X44 got advanced to the finals while the second semis saw a win for JBXE. The ABT Cupra, Veloce, and XITE ENERGY, the ones that failed the semis, are in the Crazy Race wildcard round and the Veloce team made it to the finals.
The finals saw a dramatic start where the team X44 and JBXE went off the course, triggering a red flag. As the race restart, teams RXR and Veloce are getting aggressive as they sprint towards the endgame.

At the end of the Finals, the Rosberg X Racing team, consisting of Molly Taylor and rallycross driver Johan Kristoffersson, won their second Extreme E race event at the beaches of Dakar. The Veloce Racing team finished 2nd, and JBXE Racing takes the third spot.
The next event will be at Kangerlussuaq, Greenland, from the 28th to the 29th of August, 2021.
