In the first race of this event, Andre Heimgartner made headlines as he defied the pit lane penalty to score the first win of his career, eclipsing the likes of Chaz Mostert and Anton DePasquale in a race where Winterbottom's race start went troublesome due to power steering problems, SVG's poor performance, and a costly mistake for Cameron Waters.
In the second race, Anton De Pasquale made history as he delivered his Ford Mustang Supercar to the company's 400th win in Supercars history after beating the likes of Will Davison and Shane Van Gisbergen.
In the final race, Cameron Waters ended his winless streak by outsmarting Shane Van Gisbergen on the race towards the checkered flag.
After all the action at The Bend, the gap between SVG and Whincup is now at 190 points, 1112 vs. 922, while Chaz Mostert's at third place at 866 points.
The next event of the 2021 Repco Supercars Championship will be the Winton SuperSprint this 29th to 30th of May, 2021.
