eNASCAR Pro Invitational iRacing Series S2 - Bristol Dirt

Last year, as real motorsports events got suspended in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, most series went to online e-sports to supplement race weekends despite the ongoing health crisis that forced almost the entire globe to stay indoors until the situation is clear.

NASCAR teamed up with iRacing to create the eNASCAR Pro Invitational iRacing Series, where NASCAR's bests, past and present, and pro gamers clash themselves on online races courtesy of iRacing. From the virtual Homestead-Miami to the virtual North Wilkesboro, the inaugural eNASCAR Pro Invitational iRacing Series was proven to be quite a success but a little bit controversial because of a certain driver got suspended for racial slurs.

Anyway, with the success of the first one, the eNASCAR Pro Invitational iRacing Series returns for a five-round second season where our favorite drivers are virtually all out to see who's the best.

The first virtual venue of the second season is the Bristol Dirt and as NASCAR prepares for the first-ever dirt race in five and a half decades in real life, the virtual version of the Bristol Dirt serves as a prelude for those who are prepared to take on the dirtier side of "The Last Great Coliseum". It's Bristol, baby.

Seventy laps of virtual Bristol dirt served as a prelude for the drivers bracing themselves for the real thing this weekend and with powerslides and collisions to boot, virtual Bristol dirt really made a first impression for the drivers.
