Despite his surgery that got the world questioned if he can still racing within his condition, Shane van Gisbergen managed to sweep through all three races despite drizzling conditions.
First, he claimed his 17th career win despite his troubling pre-race results, beating Cameron Waters in the final lap with Jamie Whincup finished third. In the second race, meanwhile, SVG's continues his dominance this season with his pole to win approach and beat Waters into it. And in the final race, SVG fended off Erebus newcomer Brodie Kostecki to seal his Penrite Oil Sandown SuperSprint sweep.
The next event of the 2021 Repco Supercars Championship will be the Beaurepaires Tasmania SuperSprint on the 10th to 11th of April, 2021.
