Anyway, with familiar faces and machines in store for the "new normal" Supercars season, the iconic Bathurst track became their first battleground for this year's title fight for the two-race Repco Mt. Panorama 500 event.

Onto the two-part season opener; the incident-packed first race of the season saw Shane Van Gisbergen of Red Bull Ampol Racing claimed his first win of the season while Chaz Mostert finished 2nd and Will Davidson finished 3rd. In the second race, meanwhile, SVG completes the weekend sweep with the win while Cameron Waters, moving on from his Race 1 incident, finished 2nd and Mostert finished 3rd.
The next event of the 2021 Repco Supercars Championship will be the Penrite Oil Sandown SuperSprint on the 20th to 21st of March, 2021.
