Last week's Bahrain Grand Prix was overall dramatic due to the fiery crash that sent Romain Grosjean hospitalized but thankfully, he's back to normal after a few days. Now, the tables have turned on the Bahrain track for the Sakhir Grand Prix. With Lewis Hamilton not taking part because he was tested positive for COVID-19 and a trio of replacement drivers making headlines, the changed layout sees a golden opportunity for all drivers.

The race kicked off with a crash where Sergio Perez and Charles Leclerc were involved in a collision and Max Verstappen's not safe either. With Leclerc and Verstappen out of the race, Perez continues the race. As the race continues, the leading George Russell puts his qualifying pole position to good use but sadly, the pit stop caused Russell to slip through fifth place and worse, a tire puncture dropped him to 15th. A heartbreak for Russell.
Coming from behind, Sergio Perez nicked his first F1 career win and a first for Racing Point while his teammate Lance Stroll finished 3rd. The Renault driver, Esteban Ocon, nicked his first podium finish after placing 2nd. Other finishers include Carlos Sainz, Daniel Ricciardo, Alex Albon, Danil Kvyat, Valtteri Bottas, Geroge Russell, and Lando Norris.
The F1 2020 season concludes at Yas Marina for the Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix on the 13th of December. Don't miss it!
