The 29th season of Top Gear, aired on its new home channel BBC One, shows that even in the "new normal" we still have to enjoy the coolest and weirdest cars by all means necessary. In the season finale, the boys are wrapping up the "new normal" season with three electric cars and an ice cream offroader.
Top Gear S29 FINALE |
The Season 29 finale sees Paddy McGuinness came up with a crazy idea; creating an offroad ice cream truck he named Mr. Nippy. Paddy's latest offroad invention was put to the test in the streets of Blackpool until the producers sent him and his invention to an even punishable location fit enough for Mr. Nippy's torture test; an old military area on Salisbury Plain.
The season finale also see three of the latest electric cars; the Vauxhall Corsa-e, the Mini Cooper SE, and the Honda e, taking on challenges at an empty Alton Towers theme park.
So there we are; the "new normal" Top Gear featured Paddy's offroad inventions, a tribute to the late Sir Stirling Moss, the Cyprus road trip, the retro supercar clash, grand tourers, and all leading up to one record-breaking moment where the Ferrari SF90 became the fastest to get round the Top Gear Test Track. It all makes common-ish sense now.
This concludes the 29th season of Top Gear. See you next season!
