After long months of void due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the FIA World Touring Car Cup is back in action with a revised race calendar that stretches from Zolder to Adria. The "new normal" 2020 season kicked off in Zolder for the two-part Race of Belgium where this event will decide which drivers will draw their first blood on this season.

In the first race of this brave new normal season, Nestor Girolami draws first blood by scoring his first win of the season thanks to his pole position start, beating the likes of Thed Bjork and Attila Tassi In the second race, meanwhile, it's a full podium sweep for Cyan Racing with Yann Ehrlacher named the victor while Yvan Muller finished 2nd and rookie Santiago Urrutia finished 3rd.
The FIA WTCR 2020 season continues at the Nurburgring on the 24th to 26th of September.
