F1 2020: Gran Premio Heineken D'italia

The F1 2020 season continues in Monza for the Italian Grand Prix and in this race, anything happens from start to finish.

The Italian Grand Prix was proven to be unpredictable from start to finish. With moments like Vettel's brake failure, Charles Leclerc giving up after a red flagged incident, and stop-go penalties slapped to Lewis Hamilton and Antonio Giovinazzi, the race is starting to favor the unsung F1 heroes.

With that, Alpha Tauri's Pierre Gasly nicked his second Monza win in his career while Carlos Sainz of McLaren finished 2nd and Lance Stroll of Racing Point nicked his first podium finish at third. Other finishers include Lando Norris, Valtteri Bottas, Daniel Ricciardo, Lewis Hamilton, Esteban Ocon, Danil Kvyat, and Sergio Perez.

After the Monza plot twist no one saw it coming, Hamilton still leads the driver standings at 164 points while Bottas is at 2nd with 117 points and Max Verstappen's still at third with 110 points.

Next race is at Mugello for the brand new Pirelli Gran Premio Della Toscana Ferrari 1000 on the 13th of September.
