F1 2020: Pirelli British Grand Prix

Silverstone hosts not one but two races for this month starting with the British Grand Prix and for this season, it's something worth talking about because following Racing Point's Sergio Perez tests positive for COVID-19, he got temporarily replaced by Nico Hulkenberg. Sadly, he's prematurely out of the race because the car he's racing on failed to start. So much for his comeback. Anyway, the British Grand Prix of the "new normal" F1 2020...

The British Grand Prix is packed with lots of heartbreak to the unfortunate, intense clashes, and the desperate last lap where Lewis Hamilton, suffering tyre puncture, pushed his car all the way to the finish line, even in a pinch. With Hamilton done his pinched-to-win feat, Max Verstappen of Red Bull finished 2nd and Ferrari's Charles Leclerc completes the podium with the third place finish.

Other finishers include Daniel Ricciardo, Lando Norris, Esteban Ocon, Pierre Gasly, Alex Albon, Lance Stroll, and Sebastian Vettel.

The race continues at Silverstone for the commemorative 70th anniversary Grand Prix on the 9th of August.
