Before that, let's quickly summarize what just happened in Catalunya, leading up to Hamilton's win that overtook Michael Schumacher's most podiums in history record. The race saw Charles Leclerc spun in Lap 38 while Kimi Raikkonen now raced 83,846km in F1 history, Leclerc throws in the towel at Lap 41, overcast in lap 47, and that's pretty much it.
After 66 laps of intense racing at Spain, Lewis Hamilton wins the Spanish Grand Prix while Max Verstappen finished 2nd and Valtteri Bottas finished 3rd. Hamilton now has a record of 156 F1 podiums, beating Michael Schumacher in the all-time list. Sebastian Vettel, who finished 7th, is now in the 3000-point mark club, gaining over 3000 lifetime points in his F1 career and now second to each the landmark after Hamilton.
Next race is at Spa-Francorchamps for the Rolex Belgian Grand Prix on the 30th of August, 2020.
