Same track, different layout. The 2020 DTM season remains at Lausitzring for some more action in the midst of the "new normal" as this race sees a certain BMW driver put a stop to Audi's winning streak after one year at that venue.

The
first race sees Audi driver Rene Rast nailed his second consecutive win of the season having managed to brave the crazy road conditions that sent them rethinking their tire strategies. Meanwhiel, Nico Muller finished in 2nd and Robin Frijns finished 3rd. A full Audi sweep in the first race. In the
last race, however, BMW driver Lucas Auer ended the Audi winning streak after he and Timo Glock pulled a 1-2 finish. Frijns finished 3rd.
After Lausitzring, Nico Muller remains in 1st place with 133 while Rene Rast's 36 points behind Muller and Frijns in 3rd with 92 points.
Next race is at Assen on the 4th to 7th of September, 2020.
