2020 NTT IndyCar Series - GMR Grand Prix

INDYCAR and NASCAR are sharing the Indianapolis Motor Speedway venue for the Independence Day weekend events. Focusing first on INDYCAR, the 2020 NTT IndyCar Series continues with the GMR Grand Prix where the best drivers clashing themselves at the road course section of what was known to be one of America's sacred racetracks.

Will Power leads the grid at the start of the GMR Grand Prix with some close shaves from the pack. On Lap 19, the two Arrow drivers, Askew and O'Ward, are fending each other, until in Lap 36, the red flag is triggered when Askew got crashed in the final corner. Lap 41 sees Graham Rahal leading while those behind him are starting to hound him down until several laps later, Scott Dixon leads. In Lap 56, Will Power had a bad day at the pit stop. The rest is history.

After an intence 80-lap race at IMS road course, Scott Dixon wins the GMR Grand Prix race of the 2020 NTT IndyCar Series while Graham Rahal placed 2nd and Simon Pagenaud placed 3rd.

Next race is at Road America for a two-part battle with the Rev Group Grand Prix on the 11th to 12th of July.
