After months-long hiatus due to the global pandemic crisis, the 2020 IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship is back in business to Daytona for the WeatherTech 240 race and while everyone at IMSA are adapting to the "new normal" approach, there's still unfinished business left to do for the best of IMSA as they're letting freedom rev in the middle of the Independence Day weekend.
Mazda Motorsports made an impressive 1-2 finish with the #55 winning the race ahead of the #77 DPi car, while
Corvette Racing nicked their 100th IMSA win with the C8.R's maiden win on the GTLM class, and the #14 AIM VASSER SULLIVAN RC F GT3 wins the
GTD class.
Next race is at Sebring International Raceway for the 2020 Cadillac Grand Prix of Sebring on the 16th to 18th of July.
