In the first race of the Sydney SuperSprint, the reigning Supercars champion Scott McLaughlin managed to fend of Shane Van Gisbergen to snag the checkered flag. In the second race, meanwhile, Nick Percat scored his first win in four years, and in the final race of the event, McLaughlin wraps up the Sydney SuperSprint with a win after his impressive opener and defense against Lee Holdsworth and Jamie Whincup.

The next event of the 2020 VASC will be the Truck Assist Winton SuperSprint on July 18-19.
