2020 NASCAR Cup Series - Geico 500

Delayed due to inclement weather yesterday, the Geico 500 race of the 2020 NASCAR Cup Series, held at Talladega SuperSpeedway, really starts the week with a roar of stock cars fighting each other through this famed oval track. However, before the race began, the folks from NASCAR issued a statement regarding a noose in the garage stall of Bubba Wallace's crew yesterday. They've launched an investigation but in the meantime, everybody at NASCAR stood behind Bubba Wallace in solidarity, including the great Richard Petty, owner of Petty Motorsports.

After a moment of solidarity, the Geico 500 race kicked off and the early laps went smoothly as planned. As Tyler Reddick wins Stage One, Stage Two is nothing more of a build-up of what's hitting at them at the end and as Ricky Stenhouse Jr. wins the stage, the real party begins at the final stage. There's Chase Elliot got spun on the track, then there's the #48 got pushed off the track, triggering a caution, and then there's the overtime where the endgame is worth the talk of the town.

At the rate of .007 seconds, Ryan Blaney wins by a photo finish at the Geico 500 race of the 2020 NASCAR Cup Series!

This weekend, Pocono Raceway will be having two races such as the Pocono Organics 325 on the 27th and the Pocono 350 on the 28th. Don't miss it!
