The 2020 NASCAR Cup Series continues in Homestead-Miami for the Dixie Vodka 400 and although living in the "new normal", summer comes early for the drivers as well as the dreaded hurricane season because of the lightning storms interrupting the oval party but despite the schedule interruptions due to lightning, that won't stop the best of NASCAR to deliver the biggest thrill for the whole world to see.
The race is one heck of a lightning lap, literally, because when the race started smoothly, lightning strike triggered a yellow flag at Lap 32 and triggered a red flag indefinitely. When the race restarts, the real oval party begins and as Denny Hamlin won Stage 1, the next stage gets the party even wilder when we see the #12 car getting aggressive. As Hamlin nicked another stage win, it's now a serious party in Homestead-Miami at the dead of night.
After an intense fight at Homestead-Miami, Denny Hamlin wins the Dixie Vodka 400 race of the 2020 NASCAR Cup Series. His 40th career win.
Stay tuned for more NASCAR updates!
