The virtual IndyCar action concludes at the virtual Indianapolis Motor Speedway for the First Responder 175 leg of the special IndyCar iRacing Challenge made in collaboration with IndyCar and iRacing.
In American motorsport tradition, May is known to be Indy 500 month but due to the coronavirus pandemic, there has been change of plans and despite this year's Indy 500 rescheduled until further notice, the Indy month is here to stay as the world's best drivers took part at the virtual Indianapolis Motor Speedway for the final round of the special IndyCar iRacing Challenge, the First Responder 175.
The final race of this special virtual series is about 70 laps of oval racing action with the world's best drivers, with guest drivers such as Lando Norris and Scott McLaughlin to the mix, delivering Indy action at the comfort of their homes. Chaotic moments aside, this virtual IndyCar race really is too fast to miss for the whole world to see.
After 70 laps of chaotic oval action, Scott McLaughlin wins the final race of the IndyCar iRacing Challenge followed by Conor Daly and Santino Ferrucci.
This concludes the special IndyCar iRacing Challenge. Let's hope our favorite IndyCar drivers hit the tracks real soon!
