The race for a greater cause at the comfort of their home amid the pandemic chaos continues as the six-round special INDYCAR iRacing Challenge takes on the virtual Michigan International Speedway for the Chevrolet 275 leg of the special series where most drivers are racing for the benefit of those affected by COVID-19 pandemic.
This recent virtual INDYCAR race became very special because NASCAR legend Dale Earnhardt Jr. joins the virtual grid of this virtual Michigan oval action, where intense close-quarters combat gets even more intense in the heat of this virtual race.
After 85 laps of oval-racing action at the virtual Michigan International Speedway, last year's Indy 500 winner Simon Pagenaud wins the Chevrolet 275 leg of the special INDYCAR iRacing Challenge while Supercars champ Scott McLaughlin placed 2nd and NASCAR legend Dale Earnhardt Jr. finished third.
Other finishers include Will Power, Graham Rahal, Jack Harvey, Alexander Rossi, Ryan Hunter-Reay, Ed Carpenter, Alex Palou, and Zach Veach.
