2020 NASCAR Cup Series - Pennzoil 400

America finally woke up to the roaring sound of two epic motorsport races Sunday afternoon. In the NASCAR side, there's the Pennzoil 400 held at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, and on the FIA World Endurance Championship side, there's the return of the 6 Hours of COTA held at, you guessed it, COTA, which is located at Austin, Texas. Let's shift our focus on the Pennzoil 400 race of the 2020 NASCAR Cup Series, held at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

As the green flag waved at Las Vegas, the action begins when suddenly, Daniel Suarez is having mechanical problems on his car, triggering a restart. As Stage 1 ends, Chase Elliot wins the stage. Stage 2, meanwhile, saw a nice save by the #95 and some pit lane drama, while Elliot nabs another stage win at Las Vegas.

Things are getting personal on the final stage. The #38 spins out, Martin Truex Jr. blown his right front tire, Chase Elliot loses control, the #6 car of Ross Chastian spun out, and that crazy climax no one saw it coming.

Because the race leader saw the white flag under green and the next flag ended the race, it's official that Joey Logano wins the Pennzoil 400.

Next race is at the Auto Club Speedway for the Auto Club 400 on the 1st of March, 2020.
