2020 Geneva Motor Show cancelled due to COVID-19 concerns

In the wake of the COVID-19 outbreak that plagued over 80,000 people worldwide, the organizers of the Geneva Motor Show announced that this year's event is officially cancelled due to coronavirus concerns.



The Swiss Government announced that no events with over a thousand people will be allowed to take place until the 15th of March due to COVID-19 coronavirus concerns. This includes this year's Geneva Motor Show.

This event was due to open to the public between the 5th and 15th of March, 2020 at the Palexpo convention center. Some of the ticket sales have been refunded.

Switzerland has reported 15 cases of COVID-19 as of now.
