Screengrab from IMSA |
From sundown to sunrise, the drivers fought ferociously to survive through the last second of the Rolex 24 at Daytona and with every thrills and dramas in store, Daytona never felt so alive.
After over 24 hours later 809 laps completed, Cadillac's done it again at Daytona and the #8 Wayne Taylor Racing Cadillac DPi emerged as the overall winner of this year's Rolex 24 at Daytona while the #81 Dragon Speed ORECA LMP2 07 wins the LMP2 class, the #24 RLL Racing BMW M8 GTE won the GTLM class, and the #48 Paul Miller Racing Lamborghini Huracan GT3 won the GTD class.
This is a record-breaking Rolex 24 at Daytona ever done but expect more IMSA action to come as they're heading at Sebring International Raceway for the Mobil 1 12 Hours of Sebring presented by Advance Auto Parts this 18th to 21st of March.
