2019 Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series - Drydene 400

With 12 drivers left in the NASCAR Playoffs, the fight for the final 8 has officially begun at Dover International Speedway for the Drydene 400, where the drivers are taking on one monster of a mile to keep their playoff hopes up.

Before the race starts, the drama comes at the pit lane as Joey Logano faces problems from his car's rear end. After the drama at the pit lane, the fight for the final 8 kicked off at the wave of the green flag and with Chase Elliot out of the race due to mechanical issues, Denny Hamlin wins Stage 1 of the race. In Stage 2, Martin Truex Jr. is charging through as well as Kyle Larson. With MTJ wins Stage 2, the final stage drama unfolds with Ryan Blaney facing issues as well as a rather dramatic restart following a certain on-track incident.

After all the drama at the Monster Mile, Kyle Larson of Chip Ganassi Racing, wins the Drydene 400, sealing his spot for the final 8.

The playoffs continues at Talladega Superspeedway for the 1000Bulbs.com 500 this Sunday, October 13th.
