In Friday's stages, it's a 1-2 for Citroen Racing as Esapekka Lappi managed to hound through his fellow Citroen driver Sebastien Ogier at the rate of 17.7 seconds. Then, in Saturday stages, Ogier held a narrow lead against Lappi while Ott Tanak and Thierry Neuville faced troubles. And in Sunday stages, it's official. Sebastian Ogier wins the Rally Turkey and he finished 34.7 seconds ahead of Lappi. Andreas Mikkelsen completes the podium with a third place finish.

After the action at Turkey, Ogier, who won the Rally Turkey event, is now 17 points behind current leader Ott Tanak, 210 vs. 193.

Next time, the WRC 2019 heads to Llandudno for the Wales Rally GB from the 3rd to the 6th of October, 2019.
