- Medics warn that patients die as Manila traffic jams block ambulances. Special lanes for emergency vehicles are not enforced, the infrastructure is outdated, and local drivers are often unwilling or unable to make way a situation experts say is causing patients to die en route.
- The Department of Agriculture announced that 14 out of 20 blood samples from sick pigs that eventually died in local piggeries tested positive for African Swine Fever. The blood samples were sent to the United Kingdom.
- The El Deposito underground water reservoir in San Juan City will be opened to the public next year.
- The fourth convict in the Chiong sisters rape-slay case has also been released on the basis of good conduct time allowance but expected to surrender soon.
