- Senator Bong Go filed a bill that clearly states that persons convicted of heinous crimes will not benefit from the Good Conduct Time Allowance law. ‘’In this Senate Bill 1003, I added a provision that will very clearly state that persons who have been convicted of heinous crimes will not be eligible to be granted time allowances,’’ Go said.
- Philippine National Police chief General Oscar Albayalde wants the Bureau of Corrections to inform them before a convicted prisoner is subjected to any process for his release, including parole or through the Good Conduct Time Allowance law.
